Question 1

How does the daily image limit work on the free plan?

Accepted Answer

Playground AI typically allows the creation of up to 50 images per day for free. While there are some restrictions on commercial use and image dimensions at this tier, the count resets every 24 hours, making it highly sustainable for hobbyists.

Question 2

Can I use the images I create for commercial purposes?

Accepted Answer

Commercial use is generally permitted, but it is tied to your specific subscription level. Paid Pro and Turbo subscribers have clearer commercial rights, while free users should check the latest terms of service regarding high-volume commercial scaling.

Question 3

Does Playground AI use its own proprietary model?

Accepted Answer

It utilizes highly optimized versions of Stable Diffusion, specifically XL and 1.5. The platform layers its own fine-tuned 'filters' on top of these models to achieve specific aesthetics that are difficult to get in raw SD.

Question 4

What is the 'Board' vs. 'Canvas' distinction?

Accepted Answer

The Board is a traditional layout for quick, single-image generation and browsing. The Canvas is a collaborative-style workspace where you can move images around, expand them, and edit specific sections in a non-linear way.

Question 5

Is there a mobile app available?

Accepted Answer

Currently, Playground AI is optimized for desktop browsers. While the site can be accessed on mobile, the complex Canvas tools and drag-and-drop features are designed for a mouse and keyboard interface.
